Editorial Office of One Health & Implementation Research is pleased to announce that Prof. Lihua Xiao and Prof. Patrice Nordmann are awarded Highly Cited Researcher 2022 designation!
A total of 6,938 researchers from 69 countries and regions were named Highly Cited Researchers by Clarivate. They have demonstrated significant and broad influence reflected in their publication of multiple highly cited papers over the last decade. These highly cited papers rank in the top 1% by citations for a field or corss-field and publication year in the Web of Science.

Prof. Lihua Xiao, an Associate Chief Editor of the journal, works in the Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Diseases, College of Veterinary Medicine, South China Agricultural University, China. For 30 years, he has focused on genetics and genomics, host-pathogen interactions, and molecular epidemiology of food-borne, water-borne, and zoonotic parasites, and is most noted for his work in Cryptosporidium. The Cryptosporidium bovis-like isolate from sheep is named Cryptosporidium xiaoi in honor of Prof. Lihua Xiao for his great contributions to the taxonomy and molecular epidemiology of Cryptosporidium species. He was a recipient of the Henry Baldwin Ward Medal from American Society of Parasitologists in 2012.

Prof. Patrice Nordmann is one of the Editorial Board members of the journal. He works in the Faculty of Science and Medicine, University of Fribourg, Switzerland. His group focus on the research of emerging antibiotic resistance. Among his more than 600 peer-reviewed publications, most of them are on biochemistry, genetics and epidemiology of emerging antibiotic resistance in Gram-negative bacteria.
He is the recipient of the Medaille Louis Pasteur from the French National Academy of Sciences (Paris 2012) and the Excellence Microbiology and Infectious Diseases award from the European Society for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (Berlin 2013).
